Welcome
Welcome to St Joseph’s Rural Centre, an inclusive retreat located at the heart of the National Forest in Leicestershire. The centre sits adjacent to Mount St Bernard Abbey, a Cistercian Monastery, amidst the beautiful Charnwood Forest. The centre hosts St Joseph’s Tearoom, a shop and deli filled with delicious locally sourced food and drink, Friends of St Joseph’s, a wellbeing and support hub, Cairn Crafts, and a gift shop.
However you arrive at our door, you will leave feeling better!

Care For Your Mind and Spirit:
Here at St Joseph’s we host craft workshops and wellbeing courses throughout the year from our wellbeing space and garden area called ‘The Clare Grimley Centre’. The Centre hosts organisations, charities, and the general public, aiming to maintain and support mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.
Through Cairn Crafts you could join us to learn the heritage craft of building a Coracle.
Join A Growing Community
Through the Friends of St Joseph’s, we have been building a community of people and groups who not only benefit from the work of the centre but who, in turn, support the centre financially, practically and spiritually.
